Indian Grand Prix Photos: Jenson Button Rides A Rickshaw

As Formula One makes debut at the £250m venue near Delhi, last minute preparations are still under-way. And today, British Formula One star Jenson Button whizzed around the new Buddh International Circuit in a rickshaw. With the excitement of the Formula One debut in India last minute preparations and fixes are causing fears over lack of testing. Clumps of grass are being replaced, other sections are being painted and the stands are being given a wash down with hoses ahead of tomorrow’s first practice session. As the touches are applied, nervous officials look on desperately hoping the country will be able to shake off the image of incompetency that accompanied the country’s hosting of last year’s Commonwealth Games.
