It was never really a contest on Monday Night Football this week, thanks in large part to Drew Brees. The New Orleans Saints quarterback orchestrated an offensive onslaught against the New York Giants that is hard to describe through words.
Watching highlights gives Brees’ performance a lot more justice.
GOP presidential contender Herman Cain is under the spotlight all over again! Seems like Cain just cannot stay without falling in trouble! Can he? With all his gaffes and sex allegations, Cain was on CNN today defending against yet another charge of an inappropriate relationship with a woman other than his wife, this time an alleged 13-year affair with a woman whom Cain said “is an acquaintance who I thought was a friend.” But also during the interview, host Wolf Blitzer questioned Cain regarding Herman Cain’s Libya Gaffe.
This gaffe took place during an interview with Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, when he was questioned about where he stands on Libya. Cain claimed the Sentinel “pulled out 40 seconds” from his answer (it was actually 5 minutes and not 40 seconds) and conceded the incident was “embarrassing.”
The International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People is observed by the United Nations on or around 29 November each year. This day of solidarity is observed in accordance with the General Assembly mandates contained in resolutions 32/40 B of 2 December 1977, 34/65 D of 12 December 1979, an subsequent resolutions adopted under agenda item “Question of Palestine.”
The date of 29November was chosen more due to the significance and meaning of this particular date to the Palestinian people. On 29 November 1947, the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted resolution 181 (II), which came to be known as the ‘Partition Resolution.’ This resolution provided for the establishment of a “Jewish State” and an “Arab State” in Palestine. Under this resolution, Jerusalem became the corpus separatum under a special international regime. Of the two States to be created under this resolution, only one, Israel (Jewish State) has so far come into being.
It is that time of the year again. Holidays all around us. A time of cookies, presents, dinners…basically the time of the year when you give your loved ones tokens of your love. This obviously requires you to go out and shop for them. And that apparently is the part which most men detest! That is what people actually hate about holidays and black Friday! The shopping! Gentlemen’s Rant says how we all really feel. Shopping stinks!

Seventy-two beagles raised in a Spanish laboratory have been rescued by the Beagle Freedom Project. All the beagles age between 4 and 7, have lived in cages their entire lives. “We’ve been told they lived one per cage in rooms of 10 beagles, but they never had any physical interaction with one another…They’ve been in kennels since they were rescued about a week ago, but aside from that, they’ve spent most of their lives locked up.” – NBC spokesman Gary Smith.

While it took some urging, the Rollins family finally got their wish. That wish was a rescued dog from Iraq who their son, Justin Rollins, had helped rescue the night before he was killed by a roadside bomb.
The fallen soldier was snapped in photos that night cuddling with the puppy, and saving the little dog might just have been the last heroic act of his life. When the Army finally fulfilled their request to bring the dog home from the warzone, the Rollins named him Hero. The dog has grown a lot since he was originally rescued, and is now a part of the Rollins family.
