Rapper Will.i.am’s Latest Song from Mars (Video)

For the first time in history, a recorded song is transmitted from the surface of Mars! Will.i.am’s latest song “Reaching for the Stars,” debuted from NASA’s rover ‘Curiosity’ on Mars before it was transmitted back to Earth.

This may be the first song released from the Marian surface, but not the first piece of music in outer space.  In 2008, NASA beamed the Beatles’ “Across the Universe” into space to celebrate its 40^th anniversary.
