US Soldier Intentionally Exposes His Position To Drive Away From Squad (Video)
An unnamed US soldier and his squad were engaged in intelligence gathering operation and reconnaissance in the Kunar province when they came under heavy fire from Taliban insurgents. With the rest of the squad pinned down, the soldier decided to step out in the open completely exposed to gunfire. His main aim was to distract the Taliban and shift their focus so that his squad could get to safety.
