Indian Police Using Beatles’ “Abbey Road” Album to Teach Pedestrian Safety
Music rocks the world. Plato said music is a moral law. Then there are those who will swear by the fact that it has healing powers!
Going a step further than the rest, traffic police in the Indian city of Calcutta have started a pedestrian safety campaign using the cover of the Beatles’ iconic album “Abbey Road!”
They have mounted billboards showing the British band on a pedestrian crossing, with the slogan “IF THEY CAN, WHY CAN’T YOU?”
