In the Australian Open 2012 semifinal, the two giants of tennis, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer were dueling on court with each other and setting up a classy match. As the two took on each other and kept the ball boys busy throughout their match – one of the ball boys took the spotlight off the two players. As Nadal guided an out ball towards it, the boy took a great one-handed catch. The catch was so unexpectedly brilliant and amazing that the entire stadium burst into applause.

Milah and Korben Schrader teamed up with their dad, Dicken Schrader to produce this wonderful cover of Depeche Mode’s ‘Everything Counts’. Their choice of instruments? A Xylophone, an old Yamaha Keyboard – and a bunch of homemade instruments! Improvisation was the name of the game here. Using an old coca cola bottle as drums, this dad-kids trio put up one amazing performance of the Depeche Mode!

This Monday on The Daily Show, Jon Stewart seemed far more worked up than he has been so far. A review of last week’s incidents regarding the Republican Presidential Elections, Stewart came across something that Newt Gingrich said in Thursday’s debate in South Carolina.

When CNN moderator, John King began the debate, asking Gingrich about his second wife’s accusations that he [Gingrich] asked to enter an open marriage in 1999. Gingrich attacked the moderator John King as well as the media. Newt said that Gingrich’s idea of starting the presidential candidate with such a topic was, “as close to despicable as anything [he] can imagine.”

A children’s band from Thatcham, Berkshire have turned into an internet sensation. Their cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman is a viral hit. The band comprises of eight children between ages 8-10. They performed at the Bucklebury Beer Festival.

Members of the band are; Zoe Thomson, Harry Jackson Kieran Fell and Archie Zolotuhin (guitars), Harrison Read (lead singer) and Charlie Emmons (drummer).

Woman Beats Intruder With A Bedpost

A woman by the name of Victoria Jones knocked out an intruder with her bedpost in an attempt to save herself and two children. The suspect Lucio Medina Miranda broke into Victoria’s home on January 13 shortly after 8pm. When she heard someone enter the house she had to think fast. In a panic Victoria grabbed a pack of incense but then realized she would need something a lot bigger to fight off this intruder.

She looked at her bed and grabbed the bedpost. “As I grabbed the bedpost, he was entering my room. The next thing I see he was coming towards me and I just wacked him, and I couldn’t stop.” Victoria reported. When the suspect opened the door she hit him in the head with the bedpost and he was out cold. Once she saw he was knocked out, she called 911. The police came and Miranda was hauled off to the hospital where he was treated for a broken ankle, bruises, cuts, and a swollen eye.

If you think this is science fiction, think again! Nong Youhui from China has the strange ability to see in the dark. It might seem like a part from some Hollywood sci-fi movie (Charles Xavier? Think X-men!) but as the Chinese CCTV media reports, his ability isn’t a joke.

His glow-in-the-dark eyes prompted Nong’s father to take him to a hospital in Southern China where the doctors were stunned to realize that the boy’s eyes seem to glow like a cat. He even took a test to read in the dark – which he aced.
