Apple Releasing iPad3 On Steve Job’s Birthday?

It is the birthday of the late founder of Apple Inc. on February 24, 2012. Apple might have a surprise up its sleeve for this occasion. Apple is rumored to release its third generation of iPad on Steve Job’s birthday. A Taiwanese newspaper, Economic Daily News, cites multiple sources, speculating the big date has been set and the first shipment amount of the tablet will be four million units.

Local Taiwanese assemblers including, Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Cheng Uei Precision Industry Co, Genius Electronic Optical Co and several others will have shorter Spring Festival holidays, estimated at five days, in order to rush the work, says the newspaper.
