The story is almost a year old. Nirvan Mullick visited Smart Paris searching for a door handle for his car. On his trip he met a boy named Caine Monroy, a 9-year-old boy who built cardboard arcades in front of his father’s store of car parts.

Sometimes concepts that might have been dubbed as obsolete, become a centre of attention overnight. Handmade games have always been among those drivers of nostalgia and some of the handful sources of fun that were available.

In an age that is dominated by the apps of iPhones and iPads the same idea of handmade games is looking towards a reinvasion. And this time the leader of this revival is a nine-year old kid, Caine Monroy. The little boy from Los Angeles has completely stunned the world with his expertise and skill of creating an elaborate arcade which is filled with prize displays, gift bags and special security systems in the form of calculators!
