Golden State Warriors Emphasize Defense During Media Day
Defense, defense, defense. This was easily the most commonly used word Monday at the Golden State Warriors’ media day, as players gathered at their Oakland practice facility to field questions from a swarm of reporters.
“It’s the only way you’re going to win, and we know that,” said point guard Stephen Curry, who added 10 pounds of bulk in the offseason. “Offensive talent’s going to get you 36 wins, that’s about it. We have to figure out another way to get that done so defense is what it’s going to take.”

What Was Worse Monday Night, Ravens Defense Or Offense?
Just a fair warning: This is going to be a rant. With a final losing score of 12-7 to the Jacksonville Jaguars, it’s easy to reason that the Ravens offense was just as bad (and it was terrible) but the defense just made it way too easy for the Jags to march up to field goal range time and time again.
