Football is one serious sport, considered either in terms of strategy making or the emotional attachment that people have with it. Not surprisingly, the level of seriousness associated with the game sometimes borders on the absurd end.
The same level of absurdness was demonstrated during FIFA World Cup 2010 when an octopus named as Paul gained immense fame and adoration. His claim to fame you ask? He was really, really good predicting the results of World Cup matches. In fact his results were all spot on when he accurately predicted the result of eight matches, including Germany’s run in the semifinals and Spain’s victory in the finals.
