It seems like India is not yet prepared to host events of an International level. India’s reputation for hosting major international sporting events was already severely damaged by problems that surrounded last year’s Delhi Common Wealth Games (CWG). And with the Formula One debut in Delhi this year, India was trying its best to rid its past bad reputation. It promised to have learnt from the Delhi Common Wealth Games last year. However, recent events prove that there is still much that India needs to learn before hosting an international event of this magnitude.
