The Iranian women’s football team reached Hazra Shehjalal International Airport in Dhaka on Thursday. The Iranian team’s coach is Helena Margarida dos Santos e Costa who is a Portuguese football manager. Football is a very popular sport in Iran and due to the massive interest of women in the sport; the women there were able to play on an international level.
The visitors took the lead with a Manuel Lanzini penalty after 32 minutes, but Godoy equalized three minutes later through Fecundo Castillon, following a lovely pass from David Ramires.
