Real Madrid’s Pepe Steps On Lionel Messi’s Hand In El Clasico 2012 VIDEOThe first leg of Copa del Rey quarterfinal between Real Madrid and Barcelona went in the latter’s favor. Barcelona were their precise mechanical self and Real Madrid were theirs’ – there were dives, takedowns, complains – short of punching it was a crackling game of football!

With Cristiano Ronaldo scoring in the 11th minute, Real Madrid were comfortably in their lead. That was until Puyol scored the equalizer in the 49th minute, setting Barcelona up with his away goal. Presumably that didn’t sit too well with Real Madrid, and Pepe.

Jesus Asks Tim Tebow To Take It Down A Notch In SNL Skit (Video)

Jesus Asks Tim Tebow To Take It Down A Notch In SNL Skit (Video)If you watched any football Sunday, then you know it was a rough weekend for the Denver Broncos. The team hosted Tom Brady and the Patriots, and we all saw how the team fared against an opponent that’s actually good.

After the Broncos got behind, Tim Tebow wasn’t able to supply any heroics in the 4thquarter – and we think we know why: Jesus wasn’t in his corner this time around. That would be the reasonable explanation after watching the Saturday Night Live Sketch in which the Son-of-God makes a visit to the Denver Broncos’ locker room after their last win against the Chicago Bears.

Tim Tebow Hugely Disrespected, Called ‘Embarrassing’ By Lions PlayerWe’re not trying to defend Tim Tebow too much here. During the Denver Bronco’s 45-10 blowout loss to the Detroit Lions Sunday, it looked like the young quarterback was still not ready for the NFL game, as he had three fumbles and an interception while failing to assemble any type of consistent offense. Still, the level of disrespect flung at the quarterback during and after the game took things much too far.

JaMarcus Russell Says He’s Not Fat, Lazy Or Broke

JaMarcus Russell Says He’s Not Fat, Lazy Or BrokeIf you’ve forgotten who JaMarcus Russell is, that’s probably because he lasted in the NFL for about the length of time it’ll take to read this story. The Oakland Raiders’ 2007 number one draft pick is considered one of the biggest busts in NFL history, and many of his critics say it’s because he’s a fat, lazy junkie that didn’t care enough about football and took his opportunity for granted – and ended up broke in the process. Russell fought back against all of the claims in a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, and has even put himself back on the free agent train to try and rebuild his career.

What Was Worse Monday Night, Ravens Defense Or Offense?

October 26, 2011 Leave a comment

What Was Worse Monday Night, Ravens Defense Or Offense?Just a fair warning: This is going to be a rant. A rant from an angry fantasy football tactician who owns the Baltimore Ravens’ defense and ended up losing his matchup this weekend by a SINGLE POINT because the league’s ‘best defense’ didn’t get it done against one of the league’s worst offenses. With a final losing score of 12-7 to the Jacksonville Jaguars, it’s easy to reason that the Ravens offense was just as bad (and it was terrible) but the defense just made it way too easy for the Jags to march up to field goal range time and time again.

Derrick Mason Trade Opens Up Room In Jets’ Receiving CoreIf you’re a New York Jets fan, or just a football fan in general, you’ve probably already heard about the Derrick Mason trade this week that sent the 15-year veteran wide receiver to the Houston Texans for a seventh round pick. Brianna Amat Named Pinckney High Pirates’ “Kicking Queen”Brianna Amat is the first girl to make it to the Pinckney varsity football team. And on Friday night she kicked a 31-yard game-winning field goal and was crowned homecoming queen on the same night.

Amat grew up playing soccer since the age of three and had never touched the football as a kid and was already a soccer star at Pinckney High and thought it would be fun to do something different her senior year. Dan Burkholder, Pinckney Pirate’s head coach was impressed by her performance during try outs against two male competitors and agreed to give her a shot.
