Spy Cameras Found In Bulgarian Exchange Students Apartment In Tampa, Fl.
Two Bulgarian exchange students in Tampa; Ratitsa Dzhambazova, 23, and Vanya Amokovareva, 22 have been staying in a Subleased Apartment in Tampa, Florida. Last week one of their male roommate pulled one of the smoke detector-like devices off the wall that were scattered in their bedrooms, bathroom and living area and found that a camera was hidden inside. Apparently all of the smoke detectors were actually hidden cameras. The girls are obviously scared that they were videotaped throughout their 3-month stay and over the possibility of their videos being broadcasted over the internet. MORE
Afghan War: Mayor Of Kandahar Killed In Suicide Attack
This month has seen the killing of three high profile Afghan leaders. Earlier this month, Ahmed Wali Karzai, the so-called “King of Kandahar”, who was a key strongman in the region and an alleged drugs baron who was also the brother of Afghan President Hamid Karzai was assassinated in Kandahar city. His death promoted renewed fears over the stability in Kandahar (it was the country’s designated capital during the rule of Taliban from 1996-2001 and thus a critical area in the fight against Taliban). Less than a week after Karzai’s killing a senior aide to Mr. Karzai, Jan Mohammad Khan, died in an attack on his home in Kabul. MORE
British Troops Shoot 5 Afghan Children In Air Raid
The five Afghan children were working in a field in Helmand province when they were hit by stray bullets from a British Apache gunship which was supposed to be targeting the Taliban.
The children have been injured, some seriously, in the strike. MORE
