This is definitely the extreme of ignorance. In what can be regarded as one of the most cringe-worthy moments in recent TV history, television show co-host Kathie Lee Gifford peppered funny guy Martin Short by asking questions about his wife, not realizing that she had passed away 2 years ago to cancer.
