His crime? He was just walking with granddaughter who happens to be black. He recounts how he was repeatedly stopped and eventually handcuffed in front of his granddaughter as he walked home through a park in Austin, TX. The terrified little girl could only watch in terror as her grandfather was handcuffed in front of her and threatened by the police. The ‘former journalist’ was told by the police that they are responding to a ‘kidnapping’ call.
