Meet Hana Hwang, a 13-year-old who suffers from progeria. This condition causes children to age eight to ten times faster than the average person. It is a non-curable ailment and only 10 such cases exist in the US. Such kids survive on average just 13 years, Hana’s age.
“Progeria is an extremely rare genetic condition wherein symptoms resembling aspects of aging are manifested at an early age. The word progeria comes from the Greek words “pro,” meaning “before”, and “géras”, meaning “old age”. The disorder has very low incidences and occurs in an estimated 1 per 8 million live births. Those born with progeria typically live to their mid teens and early twenties. It is a genetic condition that occurs as a new mutation, and is rarely inherited. Although the term progeria applies strictly speaking to all diseases characterized by premature aging symptoms, and is often used as such, it is often applied specifically in reference to Hutchinson-Gilford Progeria Syndrome (HGPS).” – Wikipedia.

A small head started moving at the bottom of the screen as NBC LA’s traffic reporter was giving a low down on the streets. Finally, you see that the tiny head is actually that of his adorable daughter. The reporter lovingly scoops her up and the father-daughter duo waves at the camera together!

Chihuahua Foils A Robbery Attempt In Los Angeles
Well this is something interesting!
The LA County Sherriff’s office released a video that shows a Chihuahua foiling a robbery attempt on a store earlier this month.
The attempted robbery took place in a store in Altadena when two men wearing hooded jackets and armed with rifles ran in the store and demanded money. The Chihuahua which was apparently engraged by this barked and tried to bite one of the robbers. MORE

Plus, the organization appeared to anticipate a parting of the ways. As Shannon noted, two guards were drafted in the second round.
