Australian Swim Team Slammed Over ‘Toxic’ Culture At the London Olympics 2012
The Blue Stone Review has revealed the Australian Swim team’s misconduct that breached rules and also stated that the team as a whole existed within a ‘toxic’ culture which led to bullying and abuse of prescription drugs.
The reviews were prompted by the sport’s governing body after witnessing the swimming team’s worst performance in two decades last year at the London Olympics. The report throws light on issues regarding poor leadership since incidents of ‘indecent’ behavior and indiscipline were not addressed as they should’ve been by the staff and coaches, indicating that there was a ‘dire need’ of good leadership at the Olympic Games last year.

If there is one thing London Olympics 2012 will always be remembered for it will definitely be on the number of players that have been expelled from participating in the grand event on the basis of senseless tweeting!
Latest entry in the list is of Swiss soccer player Michel Morganella who will soon be back to Switzerland thanks to him threatening and messaging a racist tweet about South Koreans. The comments came hours after Switzerland lost to South Korea. The star posted the message shortly after the game, saying that South Koreans ‘can go burn’ and referred to them as a ‘bunch of mongoloids.’

Happiest Olympic Volunteer (Video)
No event whether it be Olympics or any other can be possible without the dedication and devotion of its volunteers. But sometimes a volunteer goes an extra mile and rises above the mundane job he is assigned to.
One example of that extra mile is shown in the video in which a woman has been assigned the task of directing the thousands of people headed to the opening ceremony of the grand event of London Olympics 2012. Her stream of consciousness and deadpan jokes to the crowd was caught on video and it is hilarious.
