Can you get paid for not doing your job or going to work for 12 years? Apparently you can! A Virginia woman, Jill McGlone has not set her foot in her office and has done zero work, yet she has been collecting an annual salary worth of $26,000 for about a dozen years (This total up to an amount of $300,000). She was working as an office assistant for the Norfolk Community Services Board, she was suspended for ‘revealing confidential medical information.’ But in a book keeping mistake, the authorities forgot to suspend her pay.
