Former NASCAR driver Jeremy Mayfield was arrested at his home in North Carolina and charged with possession of methamphetamine. The former Sprint Cup driver has had highly-publicized bouts with drugs in the past, as he was barred from NASCAR in 2009 after failing a drug test, but what police found Tuesday night when they arrested Mayfield, may indicate that he has hit rock bottom.

Two sources have told the Associated Press that Danica Patrick is close to securing a deal to drive in the NASCAR Nationwide Series full time. Kyle Busch Gives Apology For Speeding, Treating Lexus Like ‘Toy’
Kyle Busch apologized several times Thursday for showing a “lack of judgment” driving 128 mph in a 45 mph zone in a borrowed 2012 Lexus LFA.
