Pedestrians Hit A High Note Playing Public Street Pianos In New York (Video)
Pianos are placed across New York City so that passers-by can enjoy the arrival of spring with a musical twist.
The video shows a very off key man named Mr. Om playing one of the pianos.
Thanks to a public art project titled “Sing for Hope Pianos”, Om is playing one of 88 pianos that have been painted by a local artist and placed at landmark sites throughout the city.

Final Pieces Of The Spire Hoisted Atop New York’s One World Trade Center (PHOTOS)
Crane operators hoisted the final pieces of the spire atop One World Trade Center on Thursday, helping to fill the void in the New York City skyline left by the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
Once a beacon is installed, the tower will stand 1,776 feet (541 meters) high, making it the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, though still well short of the world’s tallest structure.

The musical is the brainchild of producer Tim Flaherty who called on writers Jeremiah Albers, Sean Devereux and Bradford McMurran to bring the idea to life.

The New York Times is reporting NBC has not completed the deal, but it has made a commitment to Fallon, the current host of its “Late Night” program, to have him succeed Leno.
