FHM Philippines has decided to nix the cover of its latest issue from the shelves following a huge ruckus created by readers. The original cover features light-skinned Filipino Actress Bela Padilla in a pink swimsuit posing amidst darker-skinned models wearing black bikinis and boasting a tagline, “Stepping Out Of The Shadows.”
The cover obviously raised complaints from readers as they talked about Racial Discrimination and offended many. Causing many readers to declare that the cover was strongly ‘racist.’

Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte Punches Sheriff
Mayor Sara Duterte of Davao City, Philippines is an instant internet and Pilipino celebrity – after she punched the sheriff who was responsible for demolishing the shanties in in the city of Davao.
The Mayor had rushed to the district of Agdao when she learned that the Sherriff was ordered to tear down the shanty town, home to 217 families, inside a compound. She tried reasoning with the sheriff in charge, Abe Andres, who was under court orders to tear them down and asked for the demolition to be delayed by just two hours, but the sheriff denied the request. This prompted her to punch the sheriff not once, but thrice. MORE
