Pope Francis Garners Positive Reactions On Twitter After Washing Feet Of Young Detainees
This would probably be Pope Francis’ most significant break of tradition yet when he washed and kissed the feet of two young women at a juvenile detention center.
Many conservatives and traditional Catholics are criticizing the Pope by saying that he has set a “questionable example”. Liberals on the other hand are appreciating the gesture. Pope Francis has been able to gather positive reaction for the scandal-stricken Vatican and it certainly is an accomplishment on his part.
