A well known African American folk musician, Vance Gilbert posted a lengthy letter on his website to the ACLU, about his experience on a flight from Boston to Washington DC on August 14 in a United Airlines flight. he was pulled off the plane and questioned about his fanny pack (which he had tucked into his backpack under the seat in front of him) and about a book he was reading on historic planes.
