America is all wired up for elections and President Obama is all geared up for his re-election campaign. If one talks about a campaign winning documentary Obama has it. Directed by Davis Guggenheim, “The Road We Traveled” is a 17 minute documentary film that spans the time between Obama’s monumental electoral win in 2008 to 2012.
It starts out with all the odds stacked against Obama and moves on to prove him to be the champion who managed to save the day. All narrated by Tom Hanks in the most impressive way. Looking back at Guggenheim’s Oscar winning An Inconvenient Truth, Al Gore’s famous documentary on climate change, this should not come as a surprise.
